I have witnessed this during my life. I don't think that there is another profession of work where this is truer, and where its workers are more anxious to make it to the "top." Denominational Christianity is rife with a certain amount (percentage) of pastors who are kiss-ups and lap dogs; all yearning to curry the sick favor of their church denominational higher-ups. And, I will say, in the sorry process, that they destroy Biblical doctrine and human souls - all for the sake of their selfishness and coveted disposition, in order to rise to the level of the "hierarchical cream." But, the Lord looks at this, another way. He sees and regards them as Judas scum.
